Do you know what a “glaive” is, or an “ophicleide”? Believe it or not the Met is home to many strange objects that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find in an art museum. This tour will visit galleries not included in the others, including Arms and Armor and Musical Instruments. A highlight is a reliquary that supposedly holds Mary Magdalene’s tooth!
